Our Story

Marc and Luis Bernard dreamed of owning a farm. Marc, an executive chef for Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants at the time, figured it would be a few years out. His spouse, Luis, was earning his master’s degree and wanted to start his career as a special
education teacher first.

They were busy when we were there on a Saturday morning, but we were able to hold goats pretty quickly and there was no wait to check out.

Such nice people, but let me tell you about the bacon and gumbo...Ohhhh so good. I live over an hour away but I would go back in a heartbeat. My only regret is not getting more while we were there.

We went here specifically to see the goats but came away with so much more. They had a farm stand where you could buy fresh dairy and produce. I bought fresh eggs, mushrooms, and goat cheese. They save greens for you to feed the goats as a bonus. So after you leave the farmstand, grab some greens and feed the goats!
