CSA stands for Community-Supported Agriculture. When you purchase a CSA share, we’ll set aside a portion of our organically grown fruits and vegetables just for you. Each Wednesday or Saturday, you will pick up your share of the week’s harvest. The contents of your CSA box will change with the season and will include a great variety of farm favorites, such as greens of all kinds, broccoli, carrots, sweet corn, winter squash, sweet potatoes, yellow watermelons, heirloom tomatoes and so much more. Depending on weather, the CSA typically starts in late June and ends in October. You can extend the season by adding on a Winter Storage Share, and you can supplement your weekly pickup with an Egg Share — one dozen farm-fresh eggs from our pasture-raised chickens. We occasionally offer special pricing for CSA members on meat as well, including farm-fresh chicken and heirloom Red Wattle pork.
All shares are 18 weeks and designed for weekly pickup. This is a true farm share, shared risk CSA – during periods of peak harvest, you’ll get a bigger share of the bounty! Our shares include a fall share so there is no need to purchase an additional fall share as many farms require. We offer three share sizes to choose from:
Meant for the individual or fussy vegetable eater, it’s 5-7 items per share in a half-bushel box. A good option for first-time shareholders who aren’t sure how much produce they will eat each week.HALF SHARE
Feeds two adults or small family, most popular share, with 8-10 different items each week in a ¾ bushel box. During peak periods, you may even have enough produce to freeze or can for winter.FULL SHARE
Feeds 2-4 adults. It offers the best variety of produce, with 10-15 different items per share. If we have a small harvest or a crop that is just beginning to produce, the full share gets first dibs on that crop. Packed for the serious vegetable eater.

WINTER STORAGE SHARE
Two boxes of fall goodness that will store into the new year! It’s some of our favorite vegetables of the year; delicata squash, sweet potatoes, spinach, Brussels sprout, the sweetest carrots and tender greens. We’ll also include honey, organic grains and beans from nearby Hazzard Free and Breslin Farms. Click here for a full listing of our vegetables. Shares begin immediately following the end of your regular season share.
SPRING GREEN SHARE (TWO WEEK EXTENSION SHARE)
Four week share begins in May before the start of the Summer CSA and includes a variety of spring vegetables including; spinach, asparagus, French breakfast radish, Boston lettuce, baby arugula, spring onions & asian greens. Available on Saturday at the farm or at the Wheaton French Market.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR CSA BOX
In the spring, you can expect a very green share—full of spring greens, scallions, and quick-growing root crops such as radish, hakurai turnip and kohlrabi. As we roll into summer, the shares begin to fill with everyone’s favorites, such as broccoli, tomatoes, sweet corn, beans and squashes. Fall shares are heavy with sweet potatoes, potatoes, delicata squash, and Brussels sprouts.
Our goal is to provide you with a share of quality vegetables, organically grown, that your family will enjoy and want to eat. We avoid bitter greens, excessive herbs (we grow basil, cilantro & dill), and hot peppers in your share. If you’d like herbs or hot peppers you may help yourself when you pickup your share as an added bonus at no charge. In addition, if there’s something in this week’s share that your family doesn’t enjoy you may swap out and exchange it for something else.
HERE IS WHAT WE TYPICALLY OFFER OVER THE COURSE OF A CSA SEASON:
This list does not include every crop at the farm. Because of unpredictable weather, the timeline is an estimate and can shift to earlier or later availability.
CSA POLICIES
You paid for your share, and we want you to have it! We request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to pick up your share. Can’t make it to market on your regular day? Let us know and we can have it ready on the next scheduled market day. If you miss your pickup and we don’t hear from you, we will donate the produce to the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry along with the farm’s weekly donation.
If you are leaving town for vacation, we prefer if another person picks up your share that week. If this is not an option, please notify us. We will arrange for you to receive extra produce from the farm stand upon your return. Missed shares will be spread out over a couple of weeks as many shareholders found receiving a double share was simply too much produce in one week.
Shares are non-refundable but you may transfer your share at any time. Please notify us if you transfer your share so we may update our records. This is a shared risk CSA. During periods of abundance, you receive additional items in your share. Likewise, in periods of bad weather or other factors outside of our control we do our best to fulfill your order.
